Employee Assistance Programs

Check if we are the contracted provider for your company HERE.

An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a work-based intervention program designed to enhance the emotional, mental and general psychological wellbeing of all employees.

The aim is to provide preventive and proactive interventions for the early detection, identification and/or resolution of both work and personal problems that may adversely affect work performance and wellbeing.

Interventions, including counselling and group interventions can also extend to include services for immediate family members of employees.  Any problem adversely impacting an employee’s wellbeing can adversely impact their workplace performance.  Many employers recognise both the loyalty value and economic value in providing this assistance for both personal and professional issues.

Examples of issues that might be addressed include, but are not limited to:

  • relationship issues (personal and professional)
  • health, including chronic pain management
  • trauma
  • substance  or alcohol abuse
  • financial problems, including budget development,
  • depression and anxiety disorders,
  • other mental health disorders,
  • general life change or transition challenges

The specific strengths and success of our service is due to our extensive health related experience as nurses, and qualification and expertise in Occupational Health and Safety, change management and counselling.
